Use the Kindle to read the things you check out through Libby! I enter my library card number(s) and get everything sent to my Amazon account (free) and transferred to the Kindle.
Hint: I get a lot of books at once, send them to my Kindle, then put it in airplane mode so they can never recall them for being overdue. I take my time to read them all, then open up the WiFi and get a new batch, and then go offline again.

Was a good book. A nice companion to the extraordinary The Mountain in the Sea by Ray Nayler, which is extraordinary and my favorite novel in many many years. Also, the wonderfully uplifting My Octopus Teacher on Netflix.
Tried one last time to eat octopus (their brains are in their tentacles) a year ago and came close to vomiting.
Thought of that documentary too. Extraordinary. Thanks for the book tip!

I enjoyed SEND HELP last night although it had some flaws in the plot. But to make up for it were the times I laughed out loud at Raimiâs âyes, itâs me, and hereâs what youâre expectingâ moments, like a camera fast running down a path, and some other things like SPOILER.
Summing up, itâs his version of a cross between girl power and Revenge of the Nerds, with a touch of (and acknowledgment of) Survivor.
Thereâs one jump scare which is simply annoying, LOTS of gore, and some dark humor. Donât go if squeamish or insistent on making it into some Big Statement. Itâs just a horror-comedy film by a master.

Netflix - Carry On - ABSOLUTELY!!!
Even the Better Half⢠loved it.
Donât read up on it, because the surprises are fun. (My favorite scene is the beautifully directed fight in the agentâs car. Amazing.)

Enjoyed sitting in a movie theater again, and thought Conclave was worth the trip.
Although, without giving anything away, it echoes another movie I saw a bit less than thirty years ago, that a younger generation likely hasn't seen.
No spoilers.
I put on Gran Turismo last night and didn't make it to any racing scenes. Plodding, uninteresting, probably written by a guy with a checklist. Underdog. Check. Parents don't appreciate him. Check. Has-been mentor. Check. Eat Lightning, Crap Thunder. Oh different movie. Promotion for PlayStation and Nissan; makes both look boring.
