Lolla sold out, a record 270,000. I have gone a few times, but the heat is always so oppressive, it's hard to stand it. Two yrs ago I left because I couldn't get near the portos or the water, but I think they fixed it last year. It's a good one mile walk from North Stage to South Stage, not for the feint hearted.

I'll just say Pitchfork and Lollapalooza were off the chain this year! Highlights: Pitchfork with LCD Soundsystem, Pavement and Big Boi Lolla with Soundgarden, Phoenix, DEVO and Gogol Bordello and a lot more. The feeling of joy during those sets was indescribable.
