A while back i was approaching a 4-way intersection with lights. Mine was red. I stopped. On the left this big pickup truck was slowing down and then stopped. My light was still red so i was impressed that this lady actually slowed down for a yellow light instead of rushing through it. At this particular intersection (for some reason) it takes 2-3 seconds for a light to turn green after the other light turns red. Well, i could see her face and she seemed a bit perplexed (if not upset) that no one was moving so she thought the heck with you guys if you're not gonna move i'm going through. And as my light turned green she sped through her red light turning left putting her in front of me. And i'm thinking...wow...you know your light was red lady, right?
Red lights are really only suggestions in this town. It's pathetic.

I was caught up in an incident the other day with two giant pickemups spittin black diesel smoke and screeching knobby tires. Two lanes, 35 mph in theory. They were all over the place. I just laid off and drifted back to watch it unfold. I was sure somebody was going to flip over during the flip out. No one did but it was almost exciting except for the morons...

My road rage today was directed at two drivers who failed to yield to a pedestrian (me) in a marked and lighted crosswalk. They both got a single-fingered hand signal and a screamed obcenity regarding their parantage.
Hopefully it ripped a nice gaping hole in their oil pan though. Good thing too as it will hopefully keep them off the roads a bit longer.
It's annoying how often I see imbeciles trying moves like that - pretty much every day. A collision and sudden stop like that may even have deployed the airbag for that bonehead.
Ha, I recently had some yahoo pass me on the right shoulder, though I was a couple miles over the limit..Almost the same outcome! Fuggem.
