This song is from his 2nd album 'Gematria' from 1987, so it has a certain sound to it. Himmelman is a very underrated musician, he's been around a very long time, and is very prolific if you look at his discography. HIs most popular album is 'From Strength to Strength' 1991 followed by 'Flown This Acid World' and 'Skin' which is a concept album. Take a listen, his songwriting is very philosophical vs just love/loss/party themed. His live shows are legendary in their energy, spontaneity, humor and crowd interaction, he doesn't perform very often anymore so if you ever get a chance to see him I recommend it. He is a mensch and coincidentally Bob Dylan's son-in-law.  [Thanks for playing this Bill!]
