This song is for you and me.
This song is for every ICE agent.
Needed this today. Thank you.
10x10! What an incredible anthem.  I truly pity those who vote this anything below a seven, and those 14 of you who gave it a one? Really? Incel with tiny eggplant much?

It's about hating the STUPID man and it is the best kind of hatred.  You lost the game.

Bruv, you're giving off some Carly Simon vibes right there.

Anger toward the patriarchy does not equal "man hatred."

Edit: if the song by itself doesn't provide enough context for you, check out the brilliant music video for this song. That should help to clarify this song's true themes, and highlight the fact that the patriarchy doesn't just work to oppress women. The "good boy" in this song isn't the villain--he is yet another victim of the patriarchy itself, just another expendable cog in the corporate machine: They told him, "It's a staircase, it's a tower."
Just bumped the rating up a point.
Reminds me of Florence & Machine in a good way.

8 for that first sentence alone
an amazing career ahead of her

She is certainly very good at making some powerful social commentary through her songs. I'm impressed.

I'm also glad that she's not a US citizen, so should be relatively protected from the increasing censorship here.

* clever paring today with Fortunate Son played after this, well done William.

So, you say that in the US a lot more than 60 thousand people per year get arrested for offensive posts on social media?!! 'Cause in the UK (population about 70 million) 12,000 got arrested each year as an average, period 2021 - 2023.
Besides, exposing toxic masculinity and whiteness is the orotected discourse everywhere, it's the one opposing it that is "offensive" all over the place
More like Goddess Like.
We need more Paris Paloma in our our world.
I like this.  Kinda Florence & Machine esque sounding.

This.

That opening quote is Emma Thompson speaking. Looks like Paris Paloma got her to record it... looks like the original sentiment was from Rebecca Shaw in the Guardian
Just wow!
