Music like this goes over most every average person's head.

It's transcending.  It's above all other music.

Most of you will never understand.

That's okay.  Ignorance is bliss I suppose.

you know, thats the great thing about music, there is some for everyone and you dont have to judge if someone else likes something you dont
So NOT Bon Hiver (Good Winter)?  ;)
Award for tedious.
Usually a big fan. But this is a little too 'cool' for me. His lyrics at times make me feel like I'm not smart enough to 'get' him. I am. But maybe I'm just not sold on his occasional drivel. Just me.

I have found myself hitting the MUTE button lately, more than I used to on the Main Mix, triggered by a cappella pieces like this one.  I hope this disturbing trend does not continue.  First and foremost, I want to hear a melody carrying evocative lyrics, not an irritating staccato poetry reading.  That's why we call it "music"!  I have never appreciated the MUTE button more... {#Smile}

I force myself to listen to this one as a calibration exercise.

Even above television jingles? Well, dang!

Call me average and untranscendent, then. Like most Bon Iver it bores the hole off me.

Your comment is one of, if not the most, irrelevant, elitist, and worthless comments I have seen on RP.  Well done.

More or less the same argument my daughters put to me at the height of their Taylor Swift obsession (now thankfully passed).  Getting a lot of bumps though eh.
