I  Agree completely!  Thanx RP!

Maybe someday, they'll learn how to use the SKIP BUTTON!
EXCELLENT TUNE!!  Thanx RP!

Two responses to John Prine's Spanish Pipedream included the phrase "utter garbage."  Same souless person?

This is very good.
Anything from Africa is at least a 6.
That's right, anything.

Go somewhere else then, and keep your negativity to yourself.

Good advice from my grandmother: "If you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all."
OMG
utter garbage
when I was in high school, we lived in Liberia (mid-seventies)
this is the kind of music they played on radio station ELBC in Monrovia
takes me back!

Background vocals ARE out of tune...sharp on the top.
After seeing the low rating of African songs in general, I'm surprised or even (a bit) disappointed. This kind of diversity or eclectic choices is why I keep listening RP more than 15 years. For me at least, it is once and while refreshing to hear a African tune in RP. Even if the music is not an immediate cup of tea for me, I love the honest beats.
More from this album would be gratefully appreciated!   It's a good one.
Franklin's Tower like I've never heard it. Very cool. I like it.
I did not recognise this as Orchestra Baobab... It doesn't have as much of a "vibe" as I am accustomed to... Kinda muted. Still nice though.
Who's playing the lead guitar? Absolute amateur. Not the OB I know and like.
The Grateful Dead, Afro-Pop style.  I'm Loving It!!

It's as if the music is gold and Bill is a Goldsmith.  {#Notworthy}

I've had this track rated a 7 for a long time and just now bumped to an 8; maybe cuz I'm starting to really dig the Grateful Dead more.  LONG LIVE RP!!

Thanks for the pick-me-up, feeling really down today.
Thanks for playing!   The whole album is a great concept.  Several songs from it are worthy of consideration for the RP rotation in my opinion.

Had not the website told me this song was ‘Franklin’s Tower’ by The Dead I’m not sure I would have recognised it?!?

too long and monotonous
Ugh.
