Good. Now go away, we have no Randys at this party.
Randy, huh, are you a porn star or something?
This is not that sort of party.

Remember that bar scene with the aliens playing in the first Star Wars?
Yeah..... they totally ripped off 2010 Earth music.....
Cantina Scene Star Wars
More annoying that the Cars for Kids radio jingle…. Instant mute
Who's doing the Fernando Lammas? Billie Crystal? Hilarious touch! Fun!
I’m right here! 🙂

I bet your design is derivative of something, even if you aren't conscious of it. You don't exist in a vacuum, after all.

Also, this song is fun. Not every song needs to be a startlingly new concept wrapped in a never-before-seen package, and thank goodness for that, because we'd only have maybe a dozen songs were that so!

No shit! Very well put!

All I can say in a loud voice is.....neato!
This song is so catchy, it has me, a straight male, going around singing "ooh, i wanna love that man." Make of that what you will.
RP is on fire right now :D

Swing is OK but...

Play some rock n roll.

This song may have been derived from swing, but it doesn't actually swing at all, it's straight time. I met my partner learning to swing dance, and he plays in a Big Band.. That said, I enjoy this and find it toe-tapping, even if it's no good for swingouts and  fast lindy.
Fun!!!

Live - From Montreaux 2015

I'm Dutch, so I shouldn't say this, but Caro is being overplayed on RP. Too poppy, and being played on mainstream radio so much already, that I really don't need any more of it on RP.

PRO TIP: Don't listen to mainstream radio, and evaluate songs on their own merits instead!

If you like this, I would check out other artists who play electro swing - Caravan Palace, Parov Stelar, among others.
This just reminds me of 1950's cartoon music....only we don't even get the cartoon  :^ /
Still love the feel of this song, but the anachronism of leaving a message on answering machine drives me nuts..
You can make it nice, call me back.
On Riverside at 42239.

What we need is an antidote to people who think they can draw up an entire psychological profile on someone, based on their reaction to a song. I'm a very happy person and this song, which I gave a 5, did nothing to dampen that.
OMG, enough with this already.
Fun song - nothing deep but kinda makes me smile!
Is there a "That woman" version?

Well said!
Like the song itself. She just does do it for me though, needs to be a lot more sultry and evocative.
starts off sounding like a pesky brat tooting a duck call ...
Arrrrggghhhh. Caro Emerald annoys as no other.

As pleasant as that hit Doop from a few decades back!

And I want to hear this again as much as I want to hear Doop again!

Excellent choice Bill. Please Keep playing more Cotton club music. Love your list of diverse music... Keeps Radio Paradise so interesting .

Sheesh.  And I still think it's Johnny Depp's voice.

That's why we're here, after all. I love this song although there are others on the album I like better.

Johnny Depp channeling Billy Crystal channeling Fernando Lamas?
