She was a queen
She had a house
She was a fighter
She was a queen

Had a good dude
Brought me a rabbit
She was a queen
Wearing white gloves

But she kept 'em clean
Classy Lady
But she wasn't quiet
She was a queen

One day she was gone
She died in a fight
'Cause she was a fighter
She was a queen

She was a queen
She was a queen
She was a queen

I don't know why but I always think they are singing about a cat.

I read an interview with the band that confirmed that theory.

This band showed up on an episode of "White Lotus." They were not identified in the credits but the closed caption said that such-and-such song by Khruangbin was playing. Sent me straight to their website.

Solid 9 for this track with the dreamy vocals and the loping bass.

Really cool new song by them! I love how the thumping bass weaves along under the bright, groovy guitar and the smooth vocals...lovely!

Let's not forget the steady backbone of the drums!

LLO is one of my favorite of the new generation of bass players.

Saturday Night Dinner
I light candles, cook a yummy recipe. My husband opens a good bottle of wine. When the weather is warm, we leave the front door open and the cats sit and watch the bugs just beyond it. But my favorite is when it's cold and rainy and the house is an oasis of coziness. I always play Khruangbin as we eat.
