On the other hand, I get the feeling that he had no regrets.  He made the music he wanted to make, with the people he wanted to work with.  He had a very nice house, all the muscle cars anyone could want, the respect of his peers and most important of all - artistic integrity.

I bought this album, and then found the DVD/Blu Ray of the Ronnie Scotts gigs. The live version of this track is just awesome. Imogen does one of her own compositions, "Blanket" first, then "Rollin' & Tumblin' ".

I saw her just before Christmas  supporting Josh Groban.  Just her and a piano.  I thought her set was dreadful, not using her tech talents at all.  I think the audience wondered what was going on.  She even forgot the lyrics at one point.

I believe the drums and bass on this album are programmed.  The whole thing stops you in your tracks and the only place I have heard it broadcast, like so much else here, is Radio Paradise.  But marvellous though the album is I find the chops and fills too intense, once a month or so is about right.
